Personal Philosophy
Values
- •Obsess over inputs and intensity. A strong work ethic is non-negotiable.
- •Start off by assuming positive intent in people.
- •Hard things take sacrifice. There is no way around it.
- •You can't cross the line if you don't know where it is.
- •Things aren't always going to be rosy and you won't always be able to do the sexy thing. Suck it up
- •Don't learn too fast, life has a way of humbling you every time.
Opinions
- •Decisions made to maximise immediate happiness tend to produce worse outcomes over time.
- •Incentives drive almost everything.
- •Societies that train people to follow established paths rather than think independently are setting them up for a difficult decade. AI will dismantle the stable returns that conformity used to deliver.
- •Putting agents in production means accepting an order-of-magnitude bigger threat surface on every trade, every transaction, every workflow. The productivity case is overwhelming, so it's going to happen anyway. What hasn't been figured out is who pays when it breaks - the lab, the orchestrator, or the end user. That fight is coming.
- •The Middle East is going to be amongst the three largest markets for data center buildouts over the next decade.
